CRC Jazz Journal

Following the move of Jazzology and GHB Records to New Orleans and the creation of the George H. Buck, Jr. Jazz Foundation, the CRC Newsletter was renamed CRC Jazz Journal. The Foundation was established by Buck for “the documentation and preservation of authentic jazz music”: traditional jazz in its various forms. Members of the Collector’s Record Club (CRC) received the Journal which provided information on the latest releases and reissues of Buck’s record labels, including GHB, Jazzology, Audiophile, Southland, Progressive, Circle, and Black Swan. Each issue contained at least one profile of a musician, usually an obituary.
