Detroit Jazz

Detroit Jazz was the continuation of Detroit Jazz Monthly. With improved layouts and printing, issues grew in size, reflecting the growing jazz scene in late 1990s Detroit. Performance and record reviews, artist profiles, and jazz- and night club directories formed the core. While the focus was on Detroit musicians, profiles on prominent touring musicians also appeared. Alongside the editor Mitch Genova, other contributors included Sheila Landis, Buddy Budson, and others.
